As the first point of contact for pet owners, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment while managing the front desk operations efficiently. Since we are a small team and work very closely together, it is important that the ideal candidate be a team player, and willing to be cross-trained for various duties throughout the hospital.

• Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive experience.
• Schedule appointments, manage the clinic’s calendar, and confirm upcoming visits.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update client information as needed.
• Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and providing information about services offered.
• Proficiency with typing and record keeping.
• Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
• Assist veterinary staff with tasks as required
• Educate pet owners on medication administration, pet care practices, and clinic policies.
• Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively, ensuring that pets receive timely attention.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hospital.
• Assist the doctors with patient care

• Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal physiology is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with animal husbandry practices and pet care routines is an asset.
• Experience with medication administration or working alongside veterinary technicians is advantageous.
