Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Security Operations Manager to supervise day to day security operations and manage a team of security professionals on-site. The duties listed below are representative of the general duties of the role and are not an exhaustive list.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Meets with Site Security Director and key staff to identify and resolve problems
  • Assumes management responsibility on behalf of Joffe at the Client Site when Security Director is unavailable
  • Supervise the day to day operations at an assigned client site
  • Develop / maintain operational procedures
  • Manage a team of Security Professionals
  • Enforce Joffe Emergency Services / Security policies as outlined by the handbooks and executive memos
  • Ensure the Client Site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property.
  • Ensure all required reporting requirements are met
  • Monitors and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures and Identifies opportunities for improvement
  • Maintains safety standards for personnel and equipment.
  • Responds to police and other emergencies or community disasters on Clients property
  • Establishes General and Specific orders for each shift
  • Assumes positions within the guard force when manpower is short
  • Manage school calendars to anticipate coverage needs
  • Manage officer schedules including meal breaks and other breaks
  • Understand and embody the culture of the community we serve
  • Be an active presence in the community we serve as a role model and leader
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
  • College degree in Emergency Management Services or equivalent experience
  • At least 2-3 year of experience managing a guard force
  • At least 1-2 year of experience in leadership/management
  • Previous Contract Security, facilities management, military or law enforcement experience preferred
  • Ability to develop and grow customer relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, complex situations, a diverse team of employees and client requirements on an ongoing basis
