This Wisconsin based construction company is a leading General Contractor/Construction Manager nationally and is an ENR rated firm. They do a wide range of work nationally but focus on automotive & industrial projects in the Michigan market. This company has been experiencing tremendous growth and is looking to add a Project Manager to its rapidly growing team.

Job Description
  • Provide leadership and direction on commercial construction projects
  • Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site and corporate staff to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget
  • Work with the Project team to develop a work plan, establish priorities and assign tasks
  • Coordinate the preparation of the schedule and long term planning
  • Implement, monitor, update and communicate the progress schedule and its periodic revisions
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts: review and approve budgets, cost reports, rental equipment and expenses
  • Perform the final review of internal items such as Cost Analysis, Monthly Billing, Master Cost Breakdown and Monthly Reports
  • Manage subcontractor schedules, quality of work, coordination with other trades and payments
  • Create and maintain a safe/secure job site environment
  • Review and approve drawings and samples prior to submittal
  • Train and develop the Project team and schedule project resources

The Successful Applicant
  • 2+ years of project management commercial construction experience
  • Someone who is open to occasionally travel out of state to job sites
  • Strong background in Commercial and/or industrial construction
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • The ability to work in a fast paced work environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • The desire to grow their career professionally
  • Strong track record with client relationships

  • Base salary of $125,000-$165,000+ depending on experience
