Machine Operator
Description:
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring an experienced Laser Machine Operator for projects located in Wayland, MI. This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate up to $25/hr based on experience and skill level. If you are a Machine Operator eager to demonstrate your knowledge and skills while learning new ones, this is your chance to advance in your career!
Job Scope:
- Setup, adjust, and operate a CNC laser or similar punch press
- Set, align, and secure dies
- Set and adjust feeds
- Cycle through operation to ensure proper operation
- Make minor adjustments to programs as authorized
- Determine machine programming requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of previous laser operator experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to use measuring equipment; Vernier, micrometer, etc.
