Design Engineer

We are searching for a talented Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative power supply products. You will play a key role in all stages of the design process, from conceptualization and prototyping to testing and documentation.
Responsibilities- Collaborate on the design and development of power supply products.
- Build and test new electrical circuits using breadboards.
- Conduct electrical evaluations of products.
- Collect, analyze, and document data from experiments, testing, and evaluations.
- Perform failure analysis using various techniques.
- Process prototype kits for verification and design approval.
- Apply engineering analysis skills and knowledge of high-frequency switch-mode power supplies and topologies.
- Evaluate electrical components and circuitry for complex power systems.
- Support existing product lines and provide technical expertise.
- Collaborate with sales and applications teams to ensure customer satisfaction with existing product designs.
- Manage all aspects of the electrical design process, including component selection, simulation, testing, PCB layout, and assembly.
- Develop product roadmaps, write test plans, and create product specifications.
- Work effectively with internal teams to facilitate the smooth introduction and manufacturing of reliable products.
- Generate comprehensive product documentation, including bills of materials, test specifications, and assembly drawings.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) preferred, Master's degree (MSEE) a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in switch-mode power supply design.
- In-depth knowledge of high-frequency switching power supply topologies and control architectures.
- Proven skills in power conversion design, including magnetics, circuit design analysis, simulation, layout considerations, control theory, and EMC compliance.
- Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Self-motivated with a collaborative work style.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with various simulation tools (e.g., SIMetrix/SIMPLIS, Pspice, OrCAD, Mathcad, MATLAB, Excel).
- Experience and knowledge of firmware development is a plus.
