Dental Hygienist
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team full-time at Florida Dental Centers, located at 7000 66th St N, Pinellas Park, FL 3378
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. If you are a new-grad or have at least 1 year of hands-on experience and are committed to delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform dental cleanings and oral examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized oral care instructions.
Take X-rays and assist the dentist in treatment planning.
Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Florida.
X-ray certification preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on dental hygiene experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
Commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with a total of 35-40 weekly hours. The expected working hours are Monday to Friday.

This position is not remote and will be based at Florida Dental Centers in Pinellas Park Florida.
The Dental Care Alliance (DCA) does not provide mileage reimbursement for this position.

Responsibilities:
Essential Responsibilities- Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times
- Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.
- Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.
- Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
- Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Other duties as assigned
