Here's what you'd do:-Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
- Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts and uses hand and power tools, jigs, and saws.
- Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
- Conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
-Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.-Soldering/resoldering fine-pitch components to printed circuit boards (PCBs).-Soldering surface mount components to PCBs.-Repair damaged traces on PCBs.-Repair damaged through-hole pads on PCBs.-Repair damaged surface mount pads on PCBs.-Repair damaged internal circuitry on PCBs.-Replace damaged gold contacts.-Remove and replace through-hole components.-Remove and replace surface mount components.-Hot Gas surface mount component rework for BGA (Ball Grid Array) Devices.
