Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, has a Supply Chain Analyst role available in Jersey City, NJ!
The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for compiling data and feedback to review tactical key performance measures and provide exception management reporting. The analyst will assist the fast-paced operations team in optimizing inbound inventory flow, purchases and will also work to coordinate and arrange for product movement between warehouses.This task will involve daily communication between the purchasing team and the operations team to strategize the timing of when product is needed to be pulled into the warehouse locations. The analyst will also work with purchasing to coordinate when and where direct inbound loads need to be routed amongst the facilities.

Responsibilities:
You will:
- Leverage enterprise data to drive supply chain optimization projects
- Act as a liaison between the purchasing team and the operations team to drive the optimal flow of product.
- Highly analytical with associated problem-solving skills. Able to work with large and diverse data sets and disseminate key gaps to achieve desired outcomes.
- Develop and maintain analytical tools, reports, and ad hoc models to track key metrics.
- Develop a working knowledge of key supply chain concepts including material procurement strategy, inventory management, warehouse and distribution operations and ERP systems
- Extract, validate, manipulate, and summarize large datasets
- Perform ad-hoc analyses included but not limited to impact assessment of vendor cost changes, internal inventory transfers, vendor minimum order policies, vendor lead time changes.
Salary Range: $60,000 to $65,000 per year
Qualifications:
You have:
- 1-3+ years of Inventory or Supply Chain experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Information Technology, Math or Data Science or equivalent experience
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (Lookups, data sourcing, formatting, pivots), Power Query and Power BI
