JDA QA Tester job description
- Strong knowledge with hands on QA experience in integration of JDA with upstream and downstream systems.
- Deep understanding of business process as it relates to planning and supply chain, and configuration experience within JDA Demand, Collab and Fulfillment modules.
- Solid understanding of quality assurance and software development life cycles including waterfall and agile.
- Excellent knowledge of various test phases including functional, integration, regression and user acceptance testing
- Experience with hands on manual/functional testing.
- Ability to analyze business requirement documents and work closely with Business Analysts and the development team in reviewing and clarifying functional and non-functional aspects of the application
- Ability to create test plans for various software changes including web services and web-based user interfaces
- Ability to write test cases and develop test data that will ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Ability to find, reproduce, and document issues for a product team in a clear and thorough manner
- Ability to document a test report and/or a defect report. Experience with Jira preferred
- Ability to verify defect fixes and perform follow-up work to resolve issues
- Must possess excellent technical and non-technical verbal and writing skills
- Must effectively communicate testing metrics, progress, schedules, issues impacting delivery and changes found during testing
- Comfortable in a fast-paced and informal environment
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with JIRA/QASymphony/Tricentis qTest
- QA experience in similar planning and forecasting tools: Logility/Optiant, ToolsGroup etc.
- Experience with latest JDA V2019.1 in Demand, Collab and Fullfillment
