Senior Billing Specialist

Overview:
EagleView, the leader in aerial imagery, is hiring a Senior Billing Specialist. This role is a hybrid role (2 days in/3 days WFH) in our Rochester, NY office, and will be responsible for all activities in the accounts receivable function, collections, invoicing, credit memos/customer refunds, and maintaining communication with the sales team and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage invoicing and collection activities.
- Handle queries of Billing for both external and internal customers.
- Ensures accurate receivable records and verifies outstanding account balances.
- Process credit card payments and refunds in a timely manner.
- Assist in preparation of all Accounts Receivable reconciliations during month end close.
- Creates financial reports relating to account receivable function and status of accounts.
- Audits methods and procedures of accounts receivable function to improve efficiency.
- Journal entries and month-end close.
- Drive process improvements in accounts receivables, cash applications, credit management, and collections.
- Support audit and compliance.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in billing.
- Strong Excel (MS Office) skills.
- Solid accounting software (billing) experience, NetSuite preferred.
- Team player with strong customer service and excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Commercial sector experience preferred.
- Salesforce experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Power BI preferred.
