Collections Specialist

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage the company's portfolio, ensuring the timely collection of outstanding B2B receivables.
2. Maintain updated accounts receivable customer files and records.
3. Regularly review and monitor receivables for any outstanding issues.
4. Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc.
5. Interface with sales and customer service departments to resolve past due amounts.
6. Use Oracle software for all collections activities and financial reporting.
7. Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end reports as needed.
8. Perform other related duties as required.

Job Requirements:

1. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years' experience in B2B collections is required.
3. Robust knowledge and application of Oracle software.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.
5. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Superior customer service, negotiation, and resolution skills.
8. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
