Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries for general ledger accounts.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other key accounts.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes as needed.
- Support year-end closing and provide documentation for audits.
- Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and efficiencies.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a Staff Accountant role.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
