Tax Manager, Venture Capital

Salary: $150k-170k base + bonus (depending on experience)

About the Company: This Venture Capital firm adopts a progressive approach. Offering focus on emerging domains such as digital currencies as well as established sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the tax compliance lifecycle for Investment Funds & General Partner Entities.
• Assist in all tax-related matters, including strategy development for Management Company Entities.
• Participate in financial reporting and audit activities.
• Monitor fund finances and investments.
• Take part in firm operations, finance activities, and relationship building with Limited Partners (LPs).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a tax role.
• CPA certification preferred, but not obligatory.
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with R& D tax credit, international tax regulations, and corporate tax.
• Strong knowledge of the Venture Capital and Hedge tax, and the ability to work collaboratively with external tax vendors.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and a flexible and proactive attitude.
