Job Description: As a Part-Time Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Your primary responsibilities will include handling and preparing materials, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Daily Duties:

  • Collect and clean parts according to job traveler specifications.
  • Cut and prepare raw materials for various machines.
  • Unload incoming raw materials, tag them appropriately, and place them in designated locations. Receive and record them in Job Boss (Forklift certification required).
  • Monitor bulk lubrication levels (e.g., CC22, Antiwear46, Way Oil 2, Floor Cleaner) and report low levels to your supervisor.
  • Track and maintain scrap barrel inventory using a spreadsheet. Submit the spreadsheet and notify management when a trailer needs replacement.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work area at all times.

Occasional Duties:

  • Perform general machine cleaning and maintenance as needed.
  • Assist with inspection and shipping tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Forklift certification is preferred - will train if needed.
  • Prior experience in a material handling or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
