QA lead

The QA Lead will be responsible for managing a team of QA engineers, setting up automation frameworks, and ensuring end-to-end testing quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor the QA team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

Develop, implement, and maintain testing strategies, processes, and best practices.

Oversee end-to-end testing efforts, including integration, performance, regression, and automation testing.

Collaborate closely with development, product, and operations teams to understand requirements, timelines, and deliverables.

Create and manage automated test scripts and frameworks for web, mobile, and backend systems.

Drive test planning, test case creation, and execution to ensure product quality.

Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Ensure the team meets quality goals, and facilitate risk assessment and mitigation.

Track, analyze, and report QA metrics, including defect densities and open defect counts.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a lead or managerial role.

Strong expertise in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Proficiency with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).

Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Working knowledge of testing frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).

Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.

Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience in cloud-based environments, particularly AWS, is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

ISTQB or similar QA certification.

Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

Knowledge of security testing principles and tools.

Familiarity with mobile testing for iOS and Android platforms.
