PART TIME Accounting Assistant - Bethlehem

This is a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
• Assist in auditing and bank reconciliations
• Utilize Concur and MS Suite for various accounting functions
• Answer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
• Pay invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• Process customer credit applications with precision
• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when needed
• Use skills in 'Accounting Functions', 'Accounts Payable (AP)', 'Accounts Receivable (AR)', 'Auditing', and 'Bank Reconciliations' to effectively perform tasks.

• Proficiency in using Concur software for expense management
• Demonstrable knowledge of key accounting functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with auditing procedures and principles
• Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently
• A strong understanding of general financial principles and practices
• Excellent analytical skills for interpreting financial data
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Good communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
• Willingness to continuously update knowledge of accounting best practices.
