Position Description:
USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (USAID/BHA) is the lead federal coordinator for international disaster assistance. USAID/BHA provides and coordinates U.S. Government (USG) international humanitarian assistance to save lives, alleviate human suffering, and reduce the physical, social, and economic impact of rapid and slow-onset disasters by helping people in need become more resilient to future crises.Team Credence, through the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance Support Contract (BHASC), provides operational and administrative support to provide and coordinate humanitarian assistance and maintain 24/7 response capability.
The Staffing Coordinator will be the primary focal point for onboarding and new hire administration for BHASC and provide continuous support to staff throughout their employment with regards to administrative matters. Day-to-day work assignments and oversight will be provided by the Deputy Program Director for Staffing and Senior Staffing & Performance Coordinator.The Staffing Coordinator will also work closely with the Performance & Development (P&D) Team.

Work Schedule: Full-time, Hybrid (3 days in office)Location: Washington D.C.
Starting Salary Range: Full salary range for this position is: $65,000.00 - $70,00.00 a year with the starting salary determined based on candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and education, in addition to budget availability.
Clearance Required: Able to obtain a secret level clearance (US citizenship required)
Responsibilities:
- Provide effective and thorough onboarding support to all new hires including training and coordination with BHA.
- Ensure all employee onboarding documents are completed accurately and processed in a timely manner.
- Maintain BHASC Staffing Tracker to reflect correct supervisor changes, work designations, office changes, separations, promotions, and all new hire related information.
- Draft and execute onboarding pre-arrival communications for various BHA teams.
- Register newly cleared employees for biweekly security clearance training.
- Review badge paperwork to ensure accuracy prior to submitting.
- Serves as a liaison between employees, AMS, and BHA IT to address any badge issues, security clearance matters, or account access to process paperwork and mitigate issues.
- Develop and present contract orientation for new employees, as well as other requested presentations.
- Draft and distribute regular weekly recruitment communications, including notes and staffing action items to office leadership/Management Integration Teams (MIT).
- Provide departing staff with thorough information on processes and procedures by serving as a POC to ensure government-issued equipment is returned and security debriefing documents have been completed and sent to appropriate parties.
- Create onboarding and offboarding standard operating procedures (SOP) and templates for managers and clients.
- Provide continuous and timely support regarding administrative matters to staff throughout their employment.
- Maintain project staff database and internal files for all staff PII documents.
- Maintain strong communication and professional relationships with all colleagues and clients.
- Assist P&D Team as needed, including with P&D Workshops, trainings, and other administrative tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Bachelors degree and zero (0+) Years or High School diploma and four (4+) years of relevant experience
- Required to have US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Additional Qualifications and Requirements:
- Preferred: A Bachelors degree and two (2+) years of professional experience working in an administrative role
- Possess excellent judgment and reliability;
- Have strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail;
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite;
- Be able to multi-task and work under deadlines in a fast-paced and collaborative environment;
- Be capable of prioritizing tasks and follow up on actions without prompting;
- Be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances; and
- Be willing to go the extra mile and participate as an active team member who assists other team members as necessary.
- Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- In-person work requirement with the ability to telework;
- Lifting in excess of 25 lbs, standing for long periods of time, transporting equipment, etc. may be required depending on role.
