CDL Class B Shuttle Truck Driver - First Shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm)

Description:

Job Objective:

Operate shuttle truck to move product between main plant and warehouses.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive shuttle truck between main plant and warehouses
• Load and unload shuttle truck using power and hand pallet jacks or forklifts
• Enter data into computer using a scanner
• Fuel truck as needed

Requirements:

Must meet the Rochester Meat Company Driver Qualifications:

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Have a minimum of one (1) year verifiable driving experience.
• Possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License
• Possess an unexpired Medical Examiner's Certification Card or pass a pre-employment DOT physical exam
• Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check

Other Qualifications:

• Must be certified or capable of being certified to operate forklift, hand and power pallet jacks
• Able to lift and move 10 – 40 pounds
• Able to perform tasks requiring pushing, pulling, bending, lifting, walking, stooping
• Able to work in varying cold environments, -5 degrees to +40 degrees
• Able to read, write and understand instructions in the English language
• Possess basic math skills

Compensation details: 20-22 Hourly Wage
