Key Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to prepare detailed cost estimates for structural steel projects.
• Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to formulate comprehensive bids.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project requirements and scope.
• Develop and maintain a database of costs and vendor information for future reference.
• Prepare and submit competitive bids while ensuring compliance with project timelines and budgets.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project feasibility and requirements.
• Monitor market trends and pricing changes to adjust estimates accordingly.
• Provide support during the negotiation phase and assist in finalizing contracts.
• Maintain accurate documentation of estimates, bids, and related correspondence.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in estimating for structural steel projects.
• Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and construction processes.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
