Job Description

Our client is looking for a motivated and detail
  • oriented Project Manager to join their growing team.
In this role, you will oversee various commercial and multifamily construction projects, ensuring that each one is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
You will be the key point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, guiding the project through all phases from pre-construction to completion.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
  • Lead project meetings, coordinating with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address issues before they arise
  • Prepare progress reports and manage change orders and project milestones
  • Foster positive relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction

The Successful Applicant

The Project Manager - Multifamily Construction - Washington DC will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial and/or multifamily construction project management
  • Proven track record of managing projects valued between $20M to $100M
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar tools)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
  • Familiarity with construction contracts, change orders, and budgeting
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Salary: $110,000 to $135,000 based on experience
  • Bonus Structure: Annual performance-based bonus (typically between 10% - 12%)
