We currently have an opening for an ambitious Fabricator/Welder in our Halifax branch. This full-time position offers tremendous growth opportunities, including diverse projects, supported career development, and potential for advancement.
As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible to:
- Safely operate various power tools including, MIG welders, saws, presses, and punching equipment.
- Perform light gauge metal welding and have a practical understanding of metal door frames and their uses.
- Utilize a flat welding position with occasional up-hand.
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to workplace policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Your Experience:
- Ideally, you bring 1-2+ years of general welding experience or applied trades training.
- Experience operating a forklift or reach truck is considered an asset.
- Experience with hollow metal fabrication or a strong mechanical background is considered an asset.
- Experience with auto body work and Bondo is considered an asset.

- Demonstrated attention to detail and focused on producing top quality work.
- Quick learner and eager to take on new challenges.
- Perform work unsupervised and as part of a team.
