Location: New York, New York
Marsh McLennan, a $17B multinational company engaged in providing global risk solutions to clients, is seeking candidates for the role Senior Manager, Onsite Technical Support. The successful candidate will provide expert IT advice and consultation, meet regularly with Operating Companies leadership, lead and develop a team of colleagues in the region while managing support for all office technologies.

We will count on you to:
Manage and mas stakeholder engagement, ensuring that relationships are maintained to drive interaction for Colleague Technology services.Meet with, Office leadership/key stakeholders on a regular basis and reports up to necessary parties.
Ensure materials are prepared for meetings and discussions documented, so that actionable items can be followed up upon and results shared with relevant parties.
Participate in local offices Leadership meetings as appropriate.
Provide expert advice and consultation to colleagues.
Escalate strategic issues and requests.
Act as the Senior IT Management within countries.
Manage, operational support staff, internal staff and external vendor support groups; within assigned geographic regionManage an effective organizational structure, ensuring skills and talent are available to meet business requirements.
Manages staff within the MMC defined framework; promotes/develops talent, and develops a high performing function.
Manage support for all Office Infrastructure technologies, across all tiers as per the service catalogue.
Deliver services within agreed timeframes or SLAs.
Ensure infrastructure Systems are, maintained in accordance with Service Owner guidelines and are in compliance with Business Continuity agreements.
Ensure staff follows Operational Guidelines, principles, and processes as defined by Senior Management.
Collaborate with peers /Senior Managers to define, enhance, improve and adhere to defined processes for all operational tasks.
Conduct, periodic reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines; IT/operating company policies and best practices; within IT industry standards; including reducing risk in the environment.
Help produce and manage country budgets; accounts for delivering favorable budget results.
Escalate incidents and questions to appropriate support groups; and follows-up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
Handle escalations from Senior Management and Business leaders with urgency; coordinates with vendors, support groups, and staff to ensure quick/timely resolution.
Actively engage colleagues on major incidents, assisting in driving resolution times down and enhancing business communications.
Represent department and participates in local/regional project work.
Oversee local projects such as moves, acquisitions, etc.
Engage PMO/other Service Towers on, forecasting actuals on budgets and resources for execution of projects in IT.
What you need to have:
Bachelors Degree in a technology related discipline or have the work related equivalent and trainingProven experience managing a team of 15 or more people
Minimum of 10+ years of related work experience
Knowledge of desktop operating systems and software and hardware
Proven strong management skills and operations experience leading a technical support function in a large, complex environment
Strong interpersonal skills and experience interfacing with senior leadership and stakeholders
Travel will be required within the region
Occasional evening or weekend work may be required

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week.Office-based teams will identify at least one anchor day per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $108,000 to $216,100.The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
