Description:

The Senior HR Analyst provides support to operational business partners to develop, implement, maintain, and improve configurations and processes within systems.

They will be a subject matter expert in a few functional areas within the HR domain and will provide ongoing technical consultation on new and existing functionality, business processes, change management, and testing efforts.

This person will work with technological tools to provide thorough data analysis.

The Senior HR Analyst will help streamline processes by suggesting relevant insights and analyzing data about key HR metrics.

This person will leverage their technical expertise to partner with key stakeholders to solve problems and work on continual process improvement to develop solutions leveraging technology.

Tasks:

  • 1. Own select business processes and reports within HR Domain
  • 2. Recognize and suggest short-term and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics aligned with Emorys long- and short-term business strategy and challenges related to a functional area
  • 3. Understand key business processes from end user perspectives and recommend solutions that optimize system and eliminate manual processes
  • 4. Lead the creation or revision of functional requirements for business process and report changes
  • 5. Provide business requirements to Digital configuration team when new technical solutions are needed
  • 6. Collaborate with work group to test scenarios and document results
  • 7. Work closely with the project team to track issues through resolution
  • 8. Deliver training solutions to affected stakeholders and support user adoption
  • 9. Maintain HR data tools, reporting, and dashboards.
  • 10. Produce and deliver standard (monthly, quarterly, and annual) and customized HR reports.
  • 11. Performs complex data manipulation or modeling in support of critical business decisions.
  • 12. May be responsible for approving and/or establishing user access to data management systems.
  • 13. Gather and disburse government labor statistics, new employment regulations, and labor laws
  • 14. Analyze competitors practices and make recommendations to management
  • 15. Prepare reports of data results and present findings to senior leadership
  • 16. Contribute to system decision-making, scoping, and arranging HR system projects in support of the overall HR strategy
  • 17. Respond to HR data requests on an ad hoc basis by gathering, analyzing, and reporting relevant data from various sources.
  • 18. Maintain HR data integrity by ensuring the accuracy and consistency of input data. Audit HR data and troubleshoot irregularities. Support data governance processes.
  • 19. Develop & maintain a data glossary.
  • 20. Responsible for addressing a high volume of system-related activities in a timely fashion while maintaining a high level of quality and internal customer satisfaction

Skills & Abilities:

  • 1. Experience with consulting skills with a customer-centric, solution-oriented approach
  • 2. Strong verbal and written communication and ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • 3. Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • 4. Strong process-oriented and data-oriented problem solver
  • 5. Effectively prioritize workload comprised of both transactional and project-based tasks
  • 6. Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment, adhering to project deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
  • 7. Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • 8. Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
  • 9. Advanced experience with MS Excel
  • 10. Experience with data visualizations using either R/Tableau/PowerBI
  • 11. Understanding of statistical modeling and descriptive statistics
  • 12. Working knowledge of SQL

Requirements:

  • 1. Bachelor or master in human resources, business administration, I/O psychology, information technology or related field
  • 2. No professional certifications required
  • 3. 4+ years of relevant HR experience
  • 4. 2+ years of relevant data analytics experience
  • 5. Previous experience in leading system-related projects
