We are offering an exciting career opportunity in the wholesale distribution industry. The role is for an HR Director who will focus on strategic HR leadership, employee relations, talent acquisition & management, HR operations, and team leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that support the growth of the company.
  • Collaborate with top-tier leadership on important HR initiatives, including workforce acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational growth.
  • Encourage an inclusive and positive work environment that respects diversity and inclusion.
  • Handle and resolve matters related to employee relations such as performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and provide advice to management on employee relations matters.

  • Maintain employee records, including personnel files, benefits administration, and payroll, and ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Supervise a team of HR Generalists and provide guidance and support to HR team members on detail-oriented development and career growth.
  • Proficient in Benefit Functions, ensuring all employee benefits are managed effectively and efficiently.
  • Outstanding Communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate clear and open communication across all levels of the organization. Bilingual Spanish required.
  • Strong knowledge of Compliance regulations within the retail industry, ensuring all HR practices adhere to these standards.
  • Experience working with C-Suite level executives, influencing strategic decisions and providing expert HR advice.
  • Exceptional skills in Employee Relations, fostering a positive work environment and resolving any conflicts that may arise.
  • Extensive experience in Benefits Administration and Benefits Coordination, ensuring all employees receive their due benefits in a timely manner.
  • Proven abilities in Change Management, effectively managing and guiding the organization through periods of change.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Career Development, helping employees grow and progress within the organization.
  • Excellent skills in Internal Communications, ensuring clear and consistent communication of company policies and updates.
  • Solid understanding of Labor Law, applying this knowledge to ensure the organization remains compliant.
  • Experience conducting Performance Reviews and managing Performance Management systems, ensuring all employees are evaluated fairly and accurately.
  • Proven abilities in Training & Development, designing and implementing training programs that enhance employees' skills and performance.
