Desktop Support Analyst

We are in search of a Desktop Support Analyst, based in Dickson City, Pennsylvania, who can contribute to our team by offering technical and problem-solving support. In this role, you will be tasked with the configuration and deployment of new computers, providing on-site assistance, and managing inventory records of hardware and peripherals.
This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, deliver, and install new computers, ensuring data and application accuracy
- Update asset management inventory data to reflect changes
- Provide on-site technical support to end users, resolving a variety of hardware, software, security, and network connectivity issues
- Utilize a consultative approach to identify, research, and resolve technical problems
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the products or services being offered
- Maintain inventory records of hardware and peripherals
- Adhere to defined standards and policies
- Utilize skills in Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Windows 11, and MS Office 365 to facilitate daily tasks
- Engage in creative problem-solving activities to ensure customer satisfaction
- Visit multiple business and education locations as required by the role
- Proficiency in Active Directory is required
- Must possess knowledge of Computer Hardware
- Familiarity with Windows 11 is essential
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 is necessary
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to assist users
- Ability to document resolutions for future reference
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Possess good organizational and time management skills
- Experience in a similar role would be an advantage
