REQUIREMENTS

EMT – State License and NREMT Certification
The ability to work long hours without lowering the quality of care they provide
The ability to provide care in stressful situations
Problem-solving skills
Critical thinking skills
Situational awareness
Stress management skills, composure under pressure
People and customer service oriented, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to deal with conflict situations, disrupted, frustrated or angry individuals
De-escalation of problematic situations
Able to identify potential safety/ security situations
Security Officer Class D Licensure
Valid Driver’s License
English/ Spanish or bilingual in English and Spanish, depending on post assignment
Ability to use smart phone applications
Able to be alert and observe surrounding environment
Good Report writing skills
Good moral character, clean background
Responsible, reliable, punctual
