Responsibilities:
The Business Office in Administrative Services has an internship opportunity in their Distribution Supply Division.
What's In It For You?- Processes and utilizes in-depth functional knowledge of assigned areas within Distribution that directly impacts Enterprise Business Partners
- May work independently to complete large and complex efforts
- Creates complex documents including project summaries and standard work for multiple areas
- Utilizes best fit EOM/Agile to create continuous process improvement through change management
- Works with numerous business partners to understand and solve their need for Distribution with a cost expense mindset
- Works with analysts from other areas to find best solutions for Distribution, Logistics, Purchasing, and other BPs
- Creates, analyzes and presents complex reports with varied audiences from peers to executive
Qualifications:
Who we are looking for:
- We are seeking current college students majoring in Logistics/Shipping or Supply Chain Management.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to collect, organize, interpret and present complex data
- Ability to work independently or as apart of a small team
Eligibility: To be eligible for an internship, candidates must be in an undergraduate, or post-graduate program with a graduation date of August 2025 or later.
Dates of internship: May 19, 2025 – August 1, 2025Hours: Monday-Friday, 38.75 hours per week
Due to the short duration of the summer program, it is an expectation that hired interns will be available for the duration of the summer internship with little to no disruption in work schedule.
Hourly Rate: $22.00/hour based on a 38.75-hour work week. In addition, selected interns will be eligible for a $2,000 stipend (minus applicable taxes)!
Location: This position will be in an in-office work environment located in Bloomington, IL.Next Steps: Competitive candidates will be invited to participate in a pre-screening video interview in the Fall of 2024
