Boom Truck Operator
Overview:
Archer Western de Moya JV III, a member of The Walsh Group is currently seeking a Boom Truck Operator for the Broward I-95 Express Lanes PH 3C, in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Primary function is to operate a Boom Truck at the site of work to construct, maintain, or repair highway, heavy civil, or building type structures; equipment operators are also expected to assist in other duties around the jobsite as needed; operates equipment in compliance with company operating safety, policies, and procedures:

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operates a Boom Truck to complete tasks such as driving pylons, setting beams, directing and assisting with rigging
- Must have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materials
- May oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment; performs daily safety and maintenance checks; completes paperwork and other documentation as required
- May be some vibration associated with equipment operation; jolts and vibrations may result from operating equipment; loud noise when operating equipment
- May perform other related duties as required
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of operating experience preferred
- Must possess one of the required certifications to operate applicable equipment including Crane and Boom Truck – Fixed Cab and with an Active CDL License.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- May be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
- Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
- Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
