Irrigation Manager - Bradenton Location

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Irrigation Manager to lead our irrigation teams and ensure that all irrigation systems are installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards.
Job Summary:The Irrigation Manager will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and residential irrigation systems, including 2-wire systems. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage multiple crews, ensuring timely project completion and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage irrigation crews for commercial and residential projects.
- Oversee the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of irrigation systems, with expertise in 2-wire systems.
- Plan and schedule daily tasks, managing crew members to ensure efficient project execution.
- Conduct site assessments to determine irrigation needs, design solutions, and make necessary adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and local codes.
- Train and mentor team members on irrigation techniques, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other team members to ensure project goals are met.
- Manage inventory of materials and equipment needed for irrigation projects.
- Monitor the performance and efficiency of installed systems, ensuring optimal water usage and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and maintaining strong client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and residential irrigation systems.
- Proven experience with 2-wire irrigation systems.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and guide crews.
- In-depth knowledge of irrigation design, installation, and maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with irrigation controllers, valves, sensors, and other system components.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Certification in irrigation or related fields (CIC, CID, CLIA, etc.). is a plus
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with smart irrigation systems and water conservation techniques.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

- Employee may need to be “on call,” 24 hours a day, to deal with bad weather or emergencies at the site.
- Employee may be subject to lifting and exposure to extreme weather, fumes and chemicals.
- May be exposed to hazardous chemicals.
- Occasional lifting up to 40 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
- Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping, pushing and pulling.
- Work is performed in both an internal and external environment with occasional exposure to inclement weather and varying temperatures.
