Staff Accountant

This role will be integral to ensuring our accounting processes run smoothly and efficiently.

• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting functions
• Handle tax preparation tasks using ProSeries
• Maintain and manage financial records using Microsoft Excel
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all accounting tasks
• Assist in resolving any accounting related inquiries
• Monitor and take appropriate action on customer accounts
• Process customer credit applications with accuracy
• Maintain accurate customer credit records
• Collaborate with the team to improve financial processes and systems
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and changes in accounting regulations. • Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or relevant role in accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Experience with ProSeries software is necessary
• Must be adept in QuickBooks software
• Skills as a Tax Preparer are essential
• Excellent numerical and analytical abilities
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus, but not required
• Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
