Job Title: Dental Assistant
Shift Hours:- 8:00 am
- 4:30 pm (includes a 60-minute break).
- 4:30 pm, 8:30 am
- 5:00 pm, or 9:00 am
- 5:30 pm.
Location: New York, NY 10065
Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant for a 16-week assignment in the Adult Dental Oral Surgery department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience as a Chairside Dental Assistant and must possess expertise in Dentistry, Oral Surgery, EPIC, and Radiology.
Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists with various dental procedures and surgeries.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
- Take and develop X-rays.
- Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC.
- Provide patient education on dental care and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Chairside Dental Assistant.
- Completion of a Certified Dental Assisting Program.
- Proficiency in Dentistry, Oral Surgery, EPIC, and Radiology.
Dress Code:
- Navy Blue scrubs are required.
