Overview of the Position
Job Title: Business Development RepresentativeLocation: Phoenix, AZ
Hours & Schedule: Full-Time
Work Environment: Professional office setting with external client interaction; mix of in-office and field-based work.
Travel Required: Throughout Arizona (Primarily Phoenix)
Salary / Hourly Rate: $75,000 - $120,000 per yea

Job Summary
The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a key role in driving revenue by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities. This position focuses on relationship-building, market analysis, and outreach initiatives to support the growth of behavioral health services.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, business development, and healthcare partnerships with a strategic mindset and a passion for improving access to mental health care.
Job Duties & Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with school districts to support student mental health initiatives.
- Identify and engage independent providers, educating them on services and establishing referral pathways.
- Analyze competitor strategies to identify referral sources pulling clients out of state and develop strategies to retain them.
- Build relationships and business opportunities in neighboring states to support the launch of a new residential treatment center.
- Develop and execute awareness campaigns through community events, presentations, and outreach efforts.
- Strengthen partnerships with community organizations to enhance collaboration and referral opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams—including clinical, marketing, and administrative departments—to align business development efforts with organizational goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the behavioral health sector.
- Provide regular reports and updates to leadership on business development activities, market trends, and progress toward goals.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system for all outreach and business development activities.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development within the Behavioral Health industry.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales and healthcare partnerships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic outreach initiatives.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and business development tools.
