Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Field Service and Operations Technician are:
- Install, maintain, and repair advanced surgical equipment at customer sites to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and system support, diagnosing and resolving issues for medical professionals.
- Train surgeons and healthcare staff on the proper usage and maintenance of minimally invasive surgical devices.
- Maintain service records and documentation to comply with medical device industry regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and quality control of precision medical instruments.
- Support inventory management and logistics for surgical equipment parts and service tools.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve medical device performance and reliability.

The Successful Applicant
The successful Field Service and Operations Technician will have the following:
- Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field (Associate's or Bachelor's preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in field service, technical support, or manufacturing operations within the medical device industry.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve surgical equipment issues.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics for precision medical instruments.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to support healthcare professionals and surgical teams.
- Willingness to travel (20%) for on-site installation, maintenance, and technical support.
