VHB is seeking a Land Development Project Manager to join our Land Development team based in Tampa or Sarasota, FL.

Responsibilities- Work closely with a production team to develop site/civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of projects
- Support preparation of various land development design and permitting documents
- Responsible for project financial performance and client relations
- Prepare and review drawings and specifications documenting the designs
- Attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to establish their needs and discuss design/permitting issues with them
- Supervise design team activities during Construction Administration
- Manage work and development of junior-level staff
- Manage small, medium, or large projects
- Develop new project opportunities and manage proposal submissions
- Well-developed knowledge of civil engineering concepts and practices
- Skilled with project and client relationship management and collaborative problem solving
- Broad knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations
- Skills to implement the integrated services approach
- Knowledge of land development construction including codes and development regulations
- Knowledge of construction materials and detailing. Detail drawings, sections, and material specifications
- Excellent innovative design skills
- Project research and analysis
- Ability to adhere to office standards
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

- 5+ years of civil engineering experience on complex projects whether through coursework or professional experience
- Proficient in site layout, grading, utility, and stormwater management design
- Experience in developing and compiling/producing site plans, construction documents, specifications, and engineering reports
