Robert Half has an exceptional opportunity for a permanent Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join the team at a recognized company in the Retail - Clothes & Access industry. Your responsibilities as the Accounts Payable Clerk will include matching, batching, and coding invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks.

Major responsibilities- Assist with internal and external audits as needed
- Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis
- Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed
- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents
- Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department
- Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling
- Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned
- Accomplish full-cycle A/P - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
- 2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
- Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Foundational knowledge in Form 1099
- Month end closings experience
- NetSuite experience required
- Accounts Payable (AP) experience
- Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
