Account Manager

Rachel Miller is partnering on an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our clients team based in Clifton Park, New York. In this role, you will be focusing on delivering top-notch client service in the insurance industry. You will be tasked with managing client accounts, handling billing processes, and working towards the overall success of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide top-tier service to our clients, effectively addressing their needs in a timely manner.
• Handle the marketing of new and renewal business, ensuring clients receive the best coverage at competitive prices.
• Take charge of billing processes, efficiently resolving any related inquiries or issues.
• Contribute significantly to the overall success of our team by achieving individual and team goals.
• Collaborate with our team while also demonstrating the ability to handle tasks independently.
• Keep client records detailed and accurate, ensuring all information is current and properly documented.
• Utilize your skills in CRM, accounting and billing functions, and various insurance types to effectively manage client accounts
• Proven experience in an Account Manager role or similar
• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
• Familiarity with the software 'About Time' for effective time management
• Understanding of basic accounting functions and billing procedures
• Experience in managing budget processes
• Knowledge of commercial insurance policies and procedures
• Basic understanding of life insurance policies
• Familiarity with casualty insurance and auto insurance
• Experience with accident insurance policies
• Understanding of personal insurance policies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
