Dewberry is currently seeking an Environmental Compliance Intern for Summer 2025 to join our Parsippany, NJ office.

Responsibilities:

  • Gain experience and knowledge with RCRA, CERCLA, CWA, and the CAA regulatory requirements.
  • Support environmental audits, prepare regulatory plans, prepare permit applications, and perform regulatory negotiations.
  • Compose technical reports, memorandums, and other written communication such as email.

Required Skills & Required Experience:

  • Pursuing a BS degree in environmental engineering, science, or related field.
  • Previous internship experience preferred.
  • Works in a timely fashion to meets project, client and/or regulatory deadlines and project budgets.
  • Communicates effectively with coworkers, sub consultants, and county/agency review staff.

Summer Intern Program

During the summer intern program, interns gain hands-on project experience, develop technical skills, and put their classroom knowledge into action. Our interns are assigned meaningful work and are given the opportunity to work on projects similar to what they would be engaging with as a full-time employee.
