As a Master Tech Apprentice, you’ll start by being responsible to learn under the guidance of a Ford Senior Master Technician or in our Quick Lane department before moving into an apprenticeship (depending on current skillset).At our dealership, the door is always open. Job Responsibilities:
- Perform multipoint inspections
- Communicate additional service/repair needs to service advisors and/or master tech
- Rotate tires
- Inspect fluid quality and levels
- Check tire pressure
- Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
- Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil
- Maintain clean work environment
- Replace oil and air filters
- Collaborate with team members
- Seek out and maintain necessary training
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards and codes of conduct
- 2+ years of mechanical experience
- Familiarity with various aspects of automotive repair/maintenance
- Must have a valid driver license and be able to operate manual transmissions
