About Our Client

Our Client is a metal plating & metal finishing company that offers diversified metal finishing & surface preparation services.

Job Description

Work with department members to maintain compliance with customer specifications.
Assist with inspections, including but not limited to in-process, final, visual, and physical testing
Assist and learn how to complete travelers and Source Substantiation Process Plans
Review technical data for jobs received for compliance and capability.
Assist in the oversight of the Quality Department
Assist quality inspectors in all customers (internal and external) related corrective action activities to ensure timely and effective closure.
Provide weekly updates to management on various projects.
Internal and external customer interface on quality issues
Learn and become proficient in production duties/operations.
Ensure parts are processed in accordance with specifications on work orders.
Monitor condition of equipment and recommend repairs or replacements, as necessary.
Provide a safe working environment by properly handling chemicals.
Other Duties as assigned.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in engineering technology, or associate's degree within similar field with 2+ years' experience.
2+ years' experience working within the Aerospace Industry.
Supervisory experience strongly preferred
Project management skills including the ability to handle multiple project simultaneously using Excel and or MS Project Software
Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on a 'hands on' approach
Must possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of ISO9001/14001/NADCAP
Manufacturing/Industrial experience required
Must have experience interfacing with external customers
Must be capable of reading and interpreting drawings and specifications related to Aerospace Coating and materials
