Overview:

PARKING SUPERVISOR

The main purpose of the Parking Supervisor is to be primarily responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience and maintaining daily parking operations at Hardenberg St. Garage.

Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee onsite parking attendants
  • Inspect and ensure all systems are operational in the garage (PARCS, PGS, EV Chargers, Elevators, etc.)
  • Ensure all PARCS terminals and pay stations are stocked with tickets
  • Ensure cash pay stations have sufficient change on hand
  • Assist parking attendants with guest inquiries or issues entering or exiting
  • Ensure we provide exceptional level of customer service
  • Create employee parker credentials in PARCS system
  • Create validations when requested
  • Cover for parking attendants while on break
  • Provide manager with reports as needed
  • Assist customers with vehicle issues (jump start, tire inflate)
  • Create incident reports (MVA’s, Injury, Damage)
  • Periodic inspection of all floors, stairwells of parking garage, ensure vehicles parked properly, nothing out of ordinary, inspect for debris and trash, lighting operational, etc.
  • Monitor PGS system to ensure employees are parked in designated area.
  • Ensure a general level of safety with the garage

Qualifications:

Desired Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in off-street parking operations
  • Professional certifications in parking management a plus
  • Experience with parking revenue control systems a must
  • Experience with monitoring CCTV a must
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with customers in a manner consistent with the values of Middlesex County Improvement Authority
  • Experience in developing and managing relationships with stakeholders, and others
  • Ability to be available during nights and weekends
  • A valid driver's license is required
