Job Description
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall firm strategy.
  • Oversee and manage annual performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Manage employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Support business needs through the development, engagement, and motivation of associates.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Manager should have:

  • Proven working experience within the legal industry.
  • At least eight years of talent management and/or HR experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • People-oriented and results-driven mentality.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships with all levels of associates.
  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Bachelor's degree required, law or advanced degree preferred.
  • Ability to work onsite 3 days a week from Downtown LA office.
