Job Description- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall firm strategy.
- Oversee and manage annual performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Manage employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Support business needs through the development, engagement, and motivation of associates.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.

The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Manager should have:
- Proven working experience within the legal industry.
- At least eight years of talent management and/or HR experience.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- People-oriented and results-driven mentality.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships with all levels of associates.
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Bachelor's degree required, law or advanced degree preferred.
- Ability to work onsite 3 days a week from Downtown LA office.
- A competitive salary range from $125,000 - $175,000.
