As part of Skanska’s Data Solutions Team, this Data Scientist position will work with cross-functional teams to create data driven insights which add business value to our project teams, our professional service groups, and our clients and partners.The position will develop and deliver Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) models to discover hidden value from a variety of internal and external data sources, focusing on building end-to-end data science solutions for various business use cases across the enterprise.
Some of the current use cases include those which leverage large language models and generative AI for various purposes including expediting creative content development, enterprise knowledge sharing, and more.
Data Scientist Required Qualifications:
- - - 5+ years of prior experience in a data and analytics role
- 3+ years of experience with Python
- 2+ years of experience with SQL
- 1+ years of experience as a data scientist
- 1+ years of experience with software development life cycle best practices including version control (Git/GitHub), code testing and reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- 1+ years of experience with a cloud infrastructure environment like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in statistics, mathematics, computer science, operations research, economics, or a related quantitative field or 8 years equivalent experience plus minimum 5 years prior relevant experience.
