Associate Project Manager I/II - Code Compliance Specialist

L.J. Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidate for potential assignment as a Code Compliance Specialist/Accessibility Specialist.-Under direction, candidate will review capital projects in all phases of the project life cycle (predesign through closeout phases) for compliance with State Fire and Building Codes as well as Federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-Conduct review of project drawings and narratives at Master Plan, Scope of Work and various Design phases for compliance with State Fire and Building codes as well as ADA regulations and provide comments-Attend design review meetings to ensure ADA regulations are incorporated into project designs-On occasion, conduct construction acceptance and/or maintenance inspections for Fire, Code and ADA inspections for station and facility rehabilitations to ensure compliance with State Fire and Building Codes as well as with the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) standards and the contract documents
