OVERVIEW:
Drueding Center, located at 4th and Master Street in Philadelphia, partners with families experiencing homelessness to support them to build skills to heal from trauma, restore hope, and end the cycle of homelessness through a trauma informed and housing first approach.This work is accomplished through three interrelated departments – Residential Services, Community Services and Child Care.
SUMMARY OF JOB:
Drueding Center’s Residential Services department supports families living in our transitional housing program through intensive case management, supportive counseling, life skills workshops, and an on-site food pantry.
SUMMARY OF JOB: In keeping with Drueding Center’s core principles of healing from trauma, restoring hope and rapidly ending homelessness assist with ensuring the delivery of trauma informed, housing first services to residential families. Provide staff supervision. Coordinate education, life skills and pro-social recreational services to program families.Is an active participant of the Leadership team.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree in social work or related field required; with three years experience in human services field. Prior supervision or field instruction experience required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Knowledge and commitment to principles of social work.
Driver’s License preferred.
Flexible hours with one evening a week and an occasional Saturday.
