Machine Operator - Day Shift

Overview:
Up-North Plastics, Inc. is currently seeking Machine Operator Trainees to join our production team. Up North Plastics recently built a second facility and are looking to hire Machine Operators for our 12 hour day shift due to this expansion. Up North Plastics produces several lines of polyethylene products including high quality trash bags, construction films, and agricultural film.

Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Previous machine operating experience a plus
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment
Responsibilities:
Training Period:
- Work with trainers to learn how to package product
- Work with trainers to learn how to operate production equipment
- Work with trainers to learn how to identify product issues
- Work with trainers to learn how to operate a forklift
- Operate production lines
- Monitor and check film quality
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work area
- Additional duties as become necessary and/or are assigned by management
