Multi-Channel Digital Marketing Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic digital marketer for the role of Multi-Channel Digital Marketing Manager. This position reports to E-Commerce and Marketing Digital Capabilities Lead and works in close collaboration with the wider team of brand managers across all Nutricia brands.

The ideal candidate will drive business growth by working with brand teams to optimize multi-channel campaigns and elevate digital engagement. This role will own the multi-channel engagement adoption and MCE digital KPIs roadmap. Role is also responsible for leading the vision and utilization of Salesforce Marketing Cloud for the Nutricia North America team.

Responsibilities:

  • Channel Strategy: Guide brand teams on their multi-channel engagement (MCE) execution with data-driven recommendations and stay updated on industry and digital trends.
  • Agency Collaboration: Manage external agencies to ensure delivery of high-quality work aligned with business objectives. Collaborate effectively with agencies to drive results, providing clear briefs and feedback.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Own digital marketing KPIs product roadmap. Utilize data analytics to measure the performance of digital marketing campaigns, building internal benchmarks. Provide regular reports and insights to key stakeholders, highlighting successes and areas for improvement. Use data to optimize campaigns for maximum effectiveness.
  • Innovation: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the digital marketing team and bring ideas of new digital marketing opportunities.
  • MCE Digital KPIs: Own the roadmap for MCE digital KPIs and work with the IT team to build and automate performance measurement.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Develop and implement a roadmap for leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud and act as the primary contact for the platform.

Essential Functions:

  1. Champion MCE to impact the commercial model positively
  2. Plan and recommend resource allocation across channels.
  3. Work as sounding board for brand teams and assist in guiding in developing strong MCE campaigns in collaboration with internal and external teams.
  4. Ensure effective use of data and analytics for MCE measurement.
  5. Recommend technology and data setups to meet business needs.
  6. Act as organizational champion in driving adoption of MCE cross-functionally across all brands.
  7. Own Marketing Automation digital channel usage and vision form a marketing standpoint
  8. Educate the marketing team on relevant MCE tools (CRM, Marketing Automation, Google Analytics).
  9. Project and client management
  10. Budget, monitor, and control all costs associated with corporate-wide digital initiatives.
  11. Conduct consultations to understand strategies and objectives, to provide guidance on program implementation and execution, including appropriate metrics.
  12. Manage and direct multiple complex projects simultaneously to drive solutions that meet or surpass business expectations. Deliver project milestones on time and within budget.
  13. Connect effectively both inside (Global & Local teams) and outside (Vendors, Med-Tech platforms, Partners).
  14. Provide support of ad-hoc projects as needed and other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Knowledge of digital infrastructure necessary to support SEO, SEM, Display, Paid Social, Programmatic, Remarketing, PPC, Email and other digital channels.
  • Experience of creation and delivery of growth through customer-value journey within a D2C environment
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work efficiently and effectively within a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong ability to analyze and think strategically.
  • Ability to design and support plans both at the Nutricia Corporate and Category levels.
  • Ability to build relationships and partnerships both inside (local &global) and outside of organization, in and out of the company.
  • Ability to build a vision and rally others to fill the gaps necessary to carry out that vision.
  • Ability to quickly adapt in continuously changing landscapes and keep up with the pace of digital innovations.
  • Ability to inspire and coordinate efforts with Digital marketers to achieve business objectives.
  • Ability to develop, measure, analyze and report on key performance indicators.
  • Ability to prove the positive impact of digital channels and support the CBU to execute effectively MCE plans & campaigns.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fluid, fast-paced team environment while meeting critical deadlines.
  • Ability to present digital plans and initiatives across all levels of the organization including senior management.

Working conditions:

Work is conducted in a hybrid environment with the employee expected to be in the office on a regular basis as aligned with the manager. This position is based out of the Rockville, MD area.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field required (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, including paid, owned, and earned media.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using analytics tools.
  • Proven experience in managing agencies and creating relationships with technology partners.
  • Strategic thinker with passion for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Previous product ownership experience a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of MCE tools and digital channels such as CRM database, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Salesforce Marketing Cloud as well as SEO and SEM.

The base compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 commensurate with experience.
