Accounts Payable Specialist

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Houston, Texas. This role is based 100% on-site and will be situated at the front desk. The selected candidate will be a part of a small, close-knit team in the financial services industry.

• Handle account coding processes accurately
• Utilize accounting software systems for various tasks
• Provide support in the use of ADP - Financial Services
• Manage expense reporting through Concur
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Perform general accounting functions as needed
• Oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) process and ensure all transactions are carried out accurately
• Apply accrual accounting principles in financial tasks
• Participate in auditing processes when required
• Manage transactions through Automated Clearing House (ACH) • Proficiency in Account Coding is essential.
• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Concur is needed.
• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential.
• Ability to perform Accounting Functions is required.
• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary.
• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is mandatory.
