Accounts Receivable Specialist
This is an on-site, contract-to-hire opportunity looking to start immediately.

Responsibilities
The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing and overseeing the collection of payments owed to the company. This role involves processing invoices, tracking outstanding accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely payments. The Accounts Receivable Specialist works closely with both internal teams and external clients to ensure smooth financial operations.
Invoice Processing:
- Prepare and send accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all billing information is correct and up-to-date.
- Address any discrepancies or issues related to billing and perform weekly AR adjustments.
Payment Collection:
- Monitor and track accounts receivable aging reports.
- Contact customers regarding overdue payments, negotiating payment arrangements if necessary.
- Daily cash posting and processing payments received by check and credit card.
- Record payments accurately in the accounting system.
Reconciliation and Reporting:
- Reconcile customer accounts to ensure that all payments are accounted for and correctly applied.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting related to accounts receivable.
- Provide regular updates to management on overdue accounts and payment collections.
This is a high-volume AR Department. Knowledge of accounting systems, Microsoft Office, especially Excel, required.
