As the Lead Mechanical Design Engineer, you will help lead the design and development of cutting-edge lighting products. You will lead projects and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineering, industrial design, product management, and manufacturing, to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs and market trends.

• Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of mechanical engineers, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting best practices in design and engineering.
• Design & Development: Oversee the mechanical design process from concept to production, ensuring products meet functional, aesthetic, and manufacturability requirements.
• Prototyping: Lead the development of prototypes, conducting testing and validation to ensure performance, durability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with electrical engineers to integrate lighting technologies and optimize product performance. Collaborate with product managers to align designs with market needs. Work with assembly and molding to design products for both performance and efficient manufacturing.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including specifications, design reviews, and technical reports.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control processes throughout the design and manufacturing phases to ensure high standards are met.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovative design solutions to enhance product performance and reduce costs.
