We are seeking a Software Developer to join our team in the insurance industry at our location in Fairview Park, Ohio. This role involves designing and developing software solutions by studying operations and work flows, as well as maintaining and improving existing applications to address both simple and complex business problems.

• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and create new products.
• Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage and work processes, and investigating problem areas.
• Provide operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
• Enhance operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
• Keep operations secure by maintaining information confidentiality.
• Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
• Support and nurture software engineers by offering advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.
• Take ownership of services and applications and work collaboratively with others to achieve goals.
• Stay on the leading edge of development practices and understand business needs to create the tools to manage them. • Must have at least 3 years of experience working as a Software Developer in the insurance industry.
• Proficiency in C# - Sharp is required.
• Familiarity with .NET framework is essential.
• Should have experience working with MS SQL Server.
• Experience with Web API development is necessary.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically are crucial.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required.
• Must have a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with software design and testing principles is desirable.
• Knowledge of coding languages and frameworks/systems is beneficial.
• Must have the ability to learn new technology quickly and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively are important.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is required.
